OhMyLinux is a Linux server management app for iPhone and iPad. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses, how that information is stored, and when information may be sent to services you configure.
Information You Provide or Store in the App
To provide its features, OhMyLinux may store the following information locally on your device:
- Server names, host addresses, ports, usernames, and connection settings.
- SSH authentication information, such as passwords or private-key related credentials.
- Command execution history and command results.
- Server monitoring data, including CPU, memory, disk, load, uptime, network, process, and Docker container information.
- AI provider configuration, such as provider type, endpoint, model settings, and API credentials that you enter.
- Purchase entitlement state used to unlock Pro features.
Local Storage and Security
OhMyLinux is designed to keep your server management data on your device. Server connection data, monitoring data, command history, and app settings are stored locally. Sensitive authentication information is stored using system security storage whenever possible.
You are responsible for keeping your device, server credentials, and AI provider credentials secure.
Data Sent to Your Servers
When you connect to a server, OhMyLinux sends SSH commands and related connection information to the Linux servers you add. This is required for SSH access, monitoring, Docker management, command execution, and troubleshooting features.
AI Ops Assistant
If you use the AI ops assistant, the content needed to generate a response may be sent to the AI service provider you configure. This may include your messages, server status summaries, command output, error logs, Docker information, and other context you choose to provide or ask the assistant to analyze.
OhMyLinux does not control the privacy practices of third-party AI providers. Please review the privacy policy and terms of the AI provider you configure. Do not send sensitive information to an AI provider unless you are comfortable with that provider processing it.
Docker Hub and Network Requests
Some Docker-related features may request information from Docker Hub or other endpoints needed to search images, view tags, or support Docker workflows. These requests are used only to provide the requested feature.
Purchases and Subscriptions
OhMyLinux offers Pro features through App Store in-app purchases, including an annual subscription and a lifetime purchase option. Payments, refunds, cancellations, subscription management, and billing information are handled by Apple. OhMyLinux does not receive or store your full payment card information.
Data Sharing
OhMyLinux does not sell your personal data. The app does not upload your locally stored server data to an OhMyLinux-owned server. Information may be transmitted only when necessary for features you use, such as connecting to your servers, using your configured AI provider, using Docker-related network features, or completing App Store purchases through Apple.
High-Risk Operations
OhMyLinux does not automatically perform high-impact server operations on your behalf. Commands that may affect server state require your confirmation before execution.
Data Deletion
You can delete servers, command history, AI configuration, and related app data from within the app where available, or by deleting the app from your device. Deleting the app removes locally stored app data from the device, subject to iOS system behavior and any backups you control. Data already sent to your servers, AI provider, Docker Hub, or Apple is governed by those services.
Children's Privacy
OhMyLinux is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
